Terms of Service
Last updated July 11, 2026
These terms are a binding agreement between you and Compify governing your access to and use of compify.dev, app.compify.dev, and the Compify application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service for an organization, “you” includes that organization.
2. Your account
You sign in through our authentication provider. You are responsible for your account, the credentials and connectors you add, and all activity under your account. Keep your login secure and notify us promptly at security@compify.dev of any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Send spam, malware, or abuse the third-party services you connect.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Interfere with or overload the Service, or circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security controls.
You must also comply with the terms of every third-party tool you connect. You are responsible for the credentials you connect and the scope of access you grant.
4. Connected third-party services
Connectors let the Service act in tools you own or control (Gmail, Slack, GitHub, and others) using credentials you provide. Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies; Compify is not responsible for them, their availability, or actions they take on your data. You can disconnect any connected account at any time, which revokes the access you granted.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the Kits, Workflows, and content you create or route through the Service. You grant Compify a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for having the rights to the content and data you use.
6. AI-generated output
Some features generate output using AI models. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given purpose; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on or acting on it. Determinism means a given spec runs the same way on the same inputs — it is not a guarantee that model output is correct.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Compify and protected by law. These terms grant you no rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.
8. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor (Stripe) and renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices exclude taxes, which you are responsible for. We may change pricing or plan features with notice before your next renewal; continued use after the change takes effect means you accept it.
9. Trials and cancellation
Free plans and trials are offered as-is and may change or end. You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid access until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or fail to pay. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your content after a reasonable period, subject to our Privacy Policy and any legal retention obligations.
11. Availability
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Enterprise plans may include a separate service-level agreement.
12. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Compify is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid Compify in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Compify harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, your connected accounts, or your breach of these terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Compify is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law grants you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated date and, for material changes, notify you through the Service. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
